Services for Roberta S. Rosenthall of McCarley were held on Saturday, June 15, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Lizzie Sanders Memorial Chapel in Winona with Rev. Regina Tyler officiating. Burial followed in Ambrose Church Cemetery in McCarley.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, June 15 at Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home in Winona, and from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
Mrs. Rosenthall, 88, died Saturday, June 9, 2018, at her home. A homemaker, she was a member of Ambrose Chapel CME Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Rosenthall, Sr.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary R. McCray of Cincinnati, Ohio, Irene Howard of Chicago, Ill., Sherlie J. Ivory of Greenwood, Annie H. Lott of Selmer, Tenn.; Willie L. Rosenthall, Jr., of McCarley, Whit R. Rosenthall of Memphis, Tenn., and Willie E. Townsend of Kilmichael; brothers, Roy Funderberg and William Funderburg, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; 26 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
