Robert Earl Moore, 73 of Greenwood died Nov. 30 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Vistation was from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood. It continued from 8:30 a.m. until service began at 10 a.m. at the Leflore County Civic Center. There was no viewing after the eulogy and Rev. T. C. Collins officiated service. Burial was in Hogue Cemetery in Carrollton and Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home in Winona was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Moore was a Leflore County Supervisor from 1991 until his death. He was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Thompson-Clemons Post No. 200 and was retired from Mississippi State University.
He is survived by a daughter Lataunya M. Wallace of Jackson and two sons Reginald Moore and Robert A. Moore both of Greenwood; a brother, Charles Moore of Greenwood; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
