Funeral services for Mr. Robert "Bob" Brockman, 90, of Winona wer at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, at First Baptist Church in
Winona, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. John L. Walker and Rev. Jerry Rankin officiated the services.
Pallbearers were Allan Pratt, Dave Pratt, Ken Chandler, Russ Reed, Tee Golding, and Robbie Hemphill.
Visitation was on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Brockman died at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona on Wednesday, January 3. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois, on
January 19, 1927, to Harvey and Elizabeth Brockman, and was the youngest of seven children.
Mr. Brockman was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He retired from Ellis Bagwell (Davis Bros) after 45 years working in the warehouse
and as a salesman. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona. Mr. Brockman was an avid Ole Miss fan and attended his
last game three years ago.
He is survived by his son, Eric (Toni) Brockman of Advance, North Carolina; and granddaughters Cameron Parker Brockman and
Alyssa Harper Brockman; along with countless nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Mr. Brockman was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Elizabeth Brockman; as well as his six brothers and sisters. He was
also preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Parker Brockman.
