Raymond Woods Jr., 56, of Vaiden died at University Medical Center in Jackson on Monday, February 18.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Oliver Funeral Home; and continued from noon until service time at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Bro. Alvin Woods officiated the services.
Mr. Woods was born to Raymond and Romalee Aultman Woods in Greenwood on April 11, 1962 . He was a longtime employee of Hankins Lumber Company and a member of the Winona Church of God. Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Romalee A. Woods of Winona; daughter, Abby Leach (Joey) of Kilmichael; sons, Ryan Woods (Leslie) of Vaiden and Jeremey Woods (Laura) of Tippo; sister, Paula Dees (Aaron) of Winona; brothers, Tommy Woods (Renea) of Winona and David Woods of Winona; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Palllbearers will be Jeremey Woods, Ryan Woods, Joey Leach, Jason Woods, David Lovell, and Michael McKay. Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Leach, Jaxon Leach, Brent Woods, Austin Woods, and Jace Woods.
