Funeral services for Nathan Small, Jr., of Winona were held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Lizzie Sanders Memorial Chapel in Winona, with Rev. Norman Small officiating. Burial followed in Springhill Church Cemetery in Duck Hill.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, March 30 at Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home in Winona and from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday. There was no viewing after the eulogy.
Mr. Small, 83, died Thursday, March 22, 2018, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. A carpenter, he was a member of Young Chapel M.B. Church.
He is survived by Grace Gayden of Winona, Barbara Conway of Laurel, Md., and Rosemary Lemon of Chicago, Ill.; son, Rev. Normal Small of Duck Hill; sister Ella Coffey of Grenada; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
