Milton Eugene Martin, Sr., 79, of McCarley went home to the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 26, after a 6-month battle with cancer. A native of Carroll County, Mr. Martin sold life and health insurance for most of his career. He was a member of North Winona Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Martin and Homer Martin, his son, Milton Eugene "Marty" Martin, and grandson, Stephen Alexander Aldridge. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of 58 years, Geneva Hall Martin, daughter, Cindy Martin, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in Mission Cemetery on North Mission Road in Winona on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at
10 a.m. The Rev. Rupert Ingram officiated the service.
