Melvle "Bo Bo" Johnson,71, of Vaiden died March 20, 2018. Melvle was born February 6, 1947 to the late Melvin Johnson and Bessie Johnson-Carr. Melvle is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather (Albert Carr),
brother (William Carr), and sister (Frances Carr).
Melvle was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion MB Church and attended school at Sommerville School.
Melvle leaves to cherish his memories and legacy: two children- LaCalvin Johnson and Darlene Johnson; five sisters-Velma McKinney, Mary Singleton, Hazel Carr, Cleo Watson and Velma Carr; four brothers-John McKinney, William Johnson, Eddie Carr, and Grayce (Tenita) Carr; one aunt-Ophelia
McKinney; eight special relatives-Diane McKinney, Priscilla Woods, Jackie McKinney, LaCurtis McKinney, Bessie Purnell, Tom C. Purnell, Clyde (Teedy) McKinney, and Lindell Gomiller; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services were held Saturday March 24 at 11:00am at Mt. Zion Church in Vaiden.
Hughes and Sons Funeral Home provided services.
