Lola Edith Flowers, 71, of Winona died Saturday, July 14 in Greenwood.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday July 20 at Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home in Winona. It continued at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 21 at Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Nelson Forrest officiated. Burial was in the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Winona.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant and attended Mount Vernon M.B. Church.
Mrs. Flowers is survived by her husband, Archie of Winona; four daughters, Cora F. Tyson of Helena, Ala., Angela Jones of Plano, Texas, Priscilla M. Ward and Charita L. Kirkpatrick both of Winona; two sons, Archie R. Flowers and Curtis G. Flowers both of Winona; five sisters, Sharon D. Ford of Philadelphia, Pa., Mollie Turnage of Chicago, Hazel Jones, Marion Campbell and Essie Campbell all of Winona; four brothers, Charlie McChristian of Chicago, Robert Campbell of Hammond, La., Roscoe Campbell and Johnny E. Campbell both of Winona; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
