Larry Dale Palmertree, Sr., 64, passed away on Tuesday June 12, 2018. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, June 15 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Palmertree officiated.
Mr. Palmertree was a member of the Cowboy Church in Vaiden. He was born in Ruleville before moving to Kosciusko. He was a member of the Mason Trinity Lodge and a member of the Shriner’s Club. He was also the owner and operator of the Broken Wheel Restaurant and Big Larry’s Auto Repair.
Survivors include son, Larry Dale Palmertree, II of Kilmichael; daughters, Jessica Dawn Johnson, Lorie Smith (Joshua) Carlile, and Samantha Kay Palmertree, all of Kosciusko; four grandchildren, Trey Johnson, Alyssia Smith, Zachary Smith, II, and Abigail Grace Palmertree; and his sister, Joan Palmertree of Kosciusko.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Kay Edwards Palmertree; parents, Willie Earl and Bessie Mae Yates Palmertree; and his son-in-law, Elbert Johnson.
