Services for Lana Louise Holly were held Monday, February 19, 2018, at 2 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church in Carroll County.
Mrs. Holly, 73, died on Friday, February 16, 2018, at Crest Park Nursing Facility in West Helena, Ark. She was born on February 13, 1945, in Mississippi to the late Guy and Louiza Phillips Bennett. She was a former resident of Carroll County and West Helena, Ark. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Leonard Huffman Jr; daughter, Teresa H. Daves; granddaughter, Kathy (Kitty) Huffman; and brother, Danny Bennett.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Timothy) Terry of Lexa, Ark., and Kathy (Jeremy) Bowers of Carrollton; two sons, Jerry (Kathy) Huffman of Canton and Charlie Huffman of Canton; two brothers, Willie Bennett of Forrest City, Ark., and Rex Bennett of Eunice, La.; one sister, Kathleen Richard of Eunice, La.; 15 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. An additional visitation was held from noon to service time at the church prior to service. Rev Joseph Sansing officiated the services. Pallbearers were Johnathan Cassey, Craig Borders, Allen Miller, Jonathan Kemp, Billy Amos, and Scotty Cresswell. Honorary Pallbearers were Jacob Huffman, Peyton Huffman, and Xander Bowers. Burial was in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery following the services.
