Kathryn Morehead, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Briar Hill Rest Home in Florence. Visitation was held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral services to follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Morehead was born on December 12, 1931, in Carroll County, and was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church
Mrs. Morehead is survived by her sons, Dan and Bobby Morehead; daughters, Judy Stricklin, Pandra Pyron (David), Sherry Kegley (Ray); sister, Annie Rene Armstrong; grandchildren, Alisha Kennedy, James Westby-Gibson, Gerry Westby-Gibson (Christy), Krystle Short (Ben), Kassedy Gattis (Justin), Daniel Morehead, Kori Morehead, Kristy Pyron, Robert Pyron (Jennifer), Kathy Blair, Joseph Pyron, Laura Ann Pyron, Chris Kegley, Eric Kegley, Amanda Kegley; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
