Karen Kay Hall Ouzts, 62, of Sidon died Sunday, April 29, 2018, at her residence. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Odd Fellows East Cemetery. Visitation was from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Williams and Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis McKay officiated.
She was born in Greenwood on May 22, 1955 to James Hilton Hall and Lottie Hall. She resided in the Sidon and Greenwood area all of her life, and she attended Sidon Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed sitting with her grandchildren.
Survived by her two sons, Malcolm “Sonny” Ouzts, Jr. of Brandon and David Ouzts and wife Rachel of Greenwood; daughter, Olivia Frith and husband Michael of Black Hawk; children’s father, Malcolm Ouzts, Sr. of Sidon; brother, Buddy Hall of Florence; sister, Linda Turner of Byram; and six grandchildren, Hunter Ouzts, Chase Ouzts, Memrie Ellis Ouzts, Jay Mayo, Lexis Frith, and Michael Frith, Jr.
Pallbearers were Chase Ouzts, Michael Frith, Jr., Shane Cooper, Tony Reeves, Tim Johnson, and Nicholas Alderman.
Williams and Lord Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
