On December 20, 2017, Judith Meece Devine, after a long illness, passed away at her home in Alabaster, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. “Dock” Devine, sister June Walker and brother Russel E. Meece, Jr.
She is survived by her only child Melissa Devine Bennett (David), her granddaughter, Megan Eileen Bennett and her sister Julia Ray (Larry).
She will be cremated and her remains will be buried next to her husband at Milligan Springs Cemetery in Stewart. A brief grave side service was held at 1 p.m. on January 6, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
