John “Jack” Beach, 98, of Greenwood, died Friday, February 21, 2020 at Quince Nursing Home in Memphis, Tenn.
Services were at 11 a.m. on Friday at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home and visitation was held at 10 a.m. Rev. Eddie Carpenter officiated. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.
Mr. Beach was born May 7, 1921 in Attala County to Jasper Beach and Lula Moore Beach. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Turner of Horn Lake, son, Roy Beach of Carrollton, Ga., five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Military Rites will be conducted by Kessler-Hambrick-Gillespie American Legion Post #29.
