Joe Stanley Brisendine, 60, of Winona died at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2020.
Visitation was Tuesday, from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at the funeral home. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Jerry McNeer and Rev. Tim Buchanan officiated the services.
Pallbearers were Wesley Brisendine, Hunter Brisendine, Dillian Brisendine, Reed Rushing, Tommy Bowers, Edwin Taylor, Chris Covington, and Clayton Bowers.
Mr. Brisendine was born in Jackson, on May 30, 1960. He was a graduate of Forest Hill High School in Byram. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and tractor driver; and was a member of Duck Hill Baptist Church in Duck Hill.
Mr. Brisendine is survived by his wife, Sherry Brisendine of Winona; two daughters, Jodi Holly (Joshua) of Madison and Kadi Brisendine of McCarley; parents, Joe and Carolyn Brisendine of Terry; three brothers, Don Brisendine of Terry, Art Brisendine of Lyles, Tenn., and Phillip Brisendine of Terry; and two grandchildren, Preston Carpenter and Delta Holly.
