James "Bobo" Tucker, 70, of Kilmichael died on Wednesday, December 12, at the Choctaw Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ackerman.
Visitation was held from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home and a graveside service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, at the Bethany Church of God Cemetery near Poplar Creek. Rev. Randy Bridges officiated the services.
He was born on October 30, 1948, to Harold Edgar and Mattie Louise Green Tucker. He was a disabled roofer and a member of Bethany Church of God. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Shirley Tucker and Eugene Tucker.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Bonita Tucker of Kilmichael; three daughters, Brandy Moss (Sam) of Ackerman, Angie Tucker Corley of Kilmichael, and Lisa Tucker of Kilmichael; two sons, Charles Tucker of Kilmichael and Jamie Tucker (Tabby) of Duck Hill; three sisters, Carolyn Randle (Dwight) of Greenwood, Kaffie Burns-Denley of Shaw, and Brenda L. Henson of Winona; four brothers, Larry Tucker of Vaiden, Frank Tucker (Laura) of Vaiden, Darrell Tucker (Teresa) of Brandon, and Daniel Tucker (Terry) of Booneville; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Sam Moss, Calvin Young, Frank Tucker, Daniel Tucker, Darrell Tucker, and Dwight Randle, with Charles Coleman serving as honorary pallbearer.
