Gerald David Nail, 60, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at his home in Winona.
The funeral service was held Monday, April 23, 2018, at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home. Burial followed at Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was held beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born January 4, 1958, to the late R.J. and Helen Livingston Nail, Mr. Nail was a plant manager at GL Packaging in Grenada. He was a member of Moore Memorial United Methodist Church in Winona. He was interested in Civil War history and memorabilia. He greatly loved his family and enjoyed working in his yard and riding dirt bikes. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James H. Nail.
Survivors include his daughters, Kristen Nail of Starkville, Jennifer Nail of Oxford, and Alecia Lantrip of Batesville; sons, Trey Nail of Sumrall and Shane Nail of Batesville; brother, Kyle Nail of Oxford and eight grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Nail's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
