Mr. George Rose, 67, of Duck Hill passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was born August 31, 1956, in Grenada County to Huntley and Hattie Blakely Rose. He formerly worked for Binswanger and Luvata and loved cutting grass.
Funeral services were Friday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. Interment followed in Duck Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Harrison Rose; sister, Linda Respess(Ronnie) of Gore Springs; brothers, Huntley Rose of Winona and Bobby Rose of Duck Hill; stepdaughter, Alyssa Greene of Grenada; stepson Nolan Greene of Itta Bena and one step grandchild, Jordyn Greene along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jason Rose; one sister, Betty Rose and one brother, Charles Rose.
Pallbearers were Nolan Greene, Michael Jackson, Fred Johnston, T.J. Russell, Mike Taylor and Steve Ware.
