Funeral services for Mrs. Freida Geane Thompson Page of Kosciusko were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, at the Winona Church of God, with burial following in the Longview Cemetery in Carroll County. Rev. Eddie Dodd, assisted by Rev. Saxton Odom and Rev. Chris Owensby, officiated the service. Pallbearers were Matthew Deason, Chris Huffman, Ryan Page, Steven Page Jr., Thomas Page, Michael Tompkins, and Blake Harbin.
Visitation was Monday, February 5, from 5 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Winona Church of God.
Mrs. Page, 73, died at Grenada Living Center in Grenada on Sunday, February 4. She was born in Greenwood on August 21, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Jimmie Zell Bennett Stone and the late John Francis Randal Thompson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Winona Church of God. Mrs. Page loved being outside and kept a beautiful yard. She was devoted to her family.
Mrs. Page is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bobby Gene Page of Kosciusko; two daughters, Theresa Blanton (Darrell) of Grenada and Jamie Huffman (Keith) of Winona; two sons, Steven Page of Poplarville and Mark Page (Tina) of McAlester, Oklahoma; two sisters,
Patsy Stone of Texas and and Kay Young of Kosciusko; one brother, Ronnie Stone of Greenwood; thirteen grandchildren, Matthew Deason, Lauren Harbin, Ashley Page, Christopher Huffman, Courtney Tompkins, Amy Page, Steven Page Jr., Brittany Page, Thomas Page, Paige Blackstock, Ryan Page, Tiffanie Page, and William Crenshaw; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
