Freda Gail Taylor Wiggins

Services for Freda Wiggins were held Friday, November 24, 2017, 11 a.m. at Malmaison Baptist Church in Carroll County.

Mrs. Wiggins, 57, died on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, with her family by her side. 

She was born on March 7, 1960, in Greenwood to Edwin and Sarah Ashmore Taylor. She grew up and attended high school in Jacksonville, Fla.   She returned to the Greenwood area and settled in the Teoc community.   She loved to read, crochet, and was a wonderful conversationalist. She was an active member of Malmaison Baptist Church. She loved her family very much and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by a loving husband of 37 years, Mike Wiggins of Teoc; her parents, Peck and Sarah Margaret Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter, Kristi Wiggins of Teoc; grandsons, Josh Wiggins of Teoc and Chris Miller of Teoc; sisters, Cathy (Bobby) Forsyth of Jacksonville, Fla., Bonnie (Terry) Murphy of Jacksonville, Fla., and Penny (Mike) Bass of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Eddie (Glynnis) Taylor of Teoc; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 24, 2017, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Malmaison Baptist Church. Rev Eddie Carpenter officiated, assisted by Bro. Laney Haley and Bro. Gary Tanner. Pallbearers were Bubba Tanner, Lynn Haley, Sha Wiggins, Trey Taylor, Josh Wiggins, and Chris Miller. Burial was in Malmaison Baptist Church Cemetery following the services. Memorials may be made to the Malmaison Baptist Church. Williams and Lord Funeral Home was in charge. An online guestbook can be signed at www.williamsandlord.com.
