Mrs. Esther Riley Heath, 93, of Winona died at Shady Glen Assisted Living near Winona on Wednesday, April 24.
Visitation was Friday from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Eskridge Cemetery in Eskridge. Rev. T. R. Darsey, Rev. Jay Anderson, and Rev. John L. Walker officiated the services.
Mrs. Heath was born to Henry C. and Fannie Hill Boyette Riley in Montgomery County on January 23, 1926. She was a retired public school educator and a member of First Baptist Church in Winona, where she taught Sunday School and served in the choir for many, many years.
Mrs. Heath was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Charles R. Heath; her daughter, Cindy Heath; sisters, Bessie O'Bryant and Myrtle Abel; and brothers, Grady Riley and Curtis Riley.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Robertson (Ronald) of Winona; son, Charlie Heath (Tina) of Winona; seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joel Robertson, Earl Dismuke, Andy Heath, Clint Hathcock, Graham Mitchell, and Lee Coleman.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 408, Winona, MS 38967; or a charity of the donor's choice.
