Funeral services for Essie J. Glass of Greenwood were held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Friendship M.B. Church in Greenwood, with Rev. Valamage Towner officiating. Burial followed in Hudson Park Cemetery in Greenwood.
There was no public viewing or visitation.
Mrs. Glass, 62, a retired educator, died Sunday, November 25, 2017, at her home in Greenwood.
She is survived by her daughters, Latoya Glass of Greenwood and Shanell Bailey of Itta Bena; sisters, Minnie Wilder of Greenwood, Gloria Catchings of Atlanta, Ga., and Annie Colbert of Harrisburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
