Mrs. Eloise T. Gerrish of Vaiden passed away at Winona Manor in Winona on Monday, February 24, 2020.
A graveside service was held at Hopewell Cemetery in Vaiden at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, and Rev. David Westmoreland officiated.
She was born in Carroll County on January 10, 1934, to Geroge Willis and Mattie Effie Lee Turbeville and was 86 years old.
Mrs. Gerrish was the widow of James M. Gerrish. She was a homemaker, a member of Hopewell Church, and a wonderful mother who enjoyed taking care of her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Mrs. Gerrish is survived by her children, Debra Gerrish of Vaiden, Jimmie Lynn Gerrish of Pascgoula, and James M. Gerrish Jr. of Moss Point; one sister, Linda Hodges of Jackson; four grandchildren, Sunny Stockman, Hope Gerrish, Faith Gerrish, and Trey Gerrish, all of Moss Point; one great-grandson, Aaron Monroe Stockman of Moss Point; and several nieces and nephews.
