Funeral services for Ellen Alldread Stafford of Winona were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, at Community Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Randy Bridges officiated the service. Pallbearers were Eric Patridge, Benny Alldread, Lee Alldread, Jeffrey Stafford, Bryan Holmes and Sam Alldread Jr.
Visitation was Friday, May 26, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church.
Ellen Alldread Stafford, 77, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023. She was born on May 27, 1945, to Benjamin and Lucille Bennett Alldread. She was a retired factory worker and floral designer.
Mrs. Stafford is survived by daughter, Karen Stafford Vaughn of Greenwood; sons, Mark Stafford of New Hope and Jonathan Stafford of Winona; brothers, Doyle Alldread of Elliott and Sam Alldread of Duck Hill; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Holmes Stafford Jr.; two brothers, Phillip Alldread and Ed Alldread; and sister, Martha Greenslade.
