Eddie W. Griffin, 53 of Durant died March 15, 2019 at Emory Hillandale Hospital in Lithonia, Ga.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 29 at Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home in Winona. It continued from Satruday, March 30 at Vaiden Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. There was not a viewing after the eulogy. Rev. Robert Hightower officiated and burial was in the Bennett Chapel Cemetery in Black Hawk.
Mr. Griffin was a truck driver and a member of Acona Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter Raven Griffin and son Edrian Griffin both of Lithonia, Ga.; his mother and father, Annie B.Griffin and James R. Griffin, both of West; three sisters, Lue Ann Whitiker of West Memphis, Ark., Mary Applewhite of Temple, Texas and Sherrida Rouser of Ellenwood, Ga.; six brothers, James Griffin of Columbus, Ga., Terry Griffin, Kiron Griffin and Keron Griffin all of Atlanta, Ga., Marshall Griffin of Stockbridge, Ga. and Shorajin Griffin of Doughlasville, Ga.
