Earl Edward Watson, 87, born Sept. 18, 1930 in Danville, Ind., went to be with his Lord on Sun. December 31, 2017, in Brandon. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon handled funeral arrangements.
Mr. Watson served in the Korean War and retired from IBM Corporation in 1987. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Hurdle Watson and Mary Redd Watson.
Mr. Watson will be greatly missed and is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley Ann Cooper Watson formerly of Plainfield, Ind.; three sons, Stephen Edward Watson (Eileen) of Texas, Michael Guy Watson (Martha) of Michigan and Bruce Alden Watson (Donna) of Texas; brother, Marvin Watson (Anna); sister, Linda Owen (Randy); grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild.
