Services for Donna Lynn Steed were held Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.
Mrs. Steed, age 60, died on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was born on June 5, 1957, in Leflore County, MS, to Otha and Alma Carroll Lishman and lived in Greenwood, MS. She attended Greenwood High School and recently had retired from McCaleb Furniture Company in Greenwood. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Dennis Lishman.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Steed of Greenwood; daughters, Shander Weldon of Greenwood, and Leslie Steed of Greenwood; sons, Jamie Winters of Water Valley, and John Steed of Lake Village, Ark.; sisters, Patsy Spell of Money, Gayle Young of Greenwood, and Dianne French of Greenwood; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. to service time at the funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Dennis McKay officiated the services. Pallbearers were Ken Melton, Bitty Melton, Anthony King, Walter Nance, John Steed, and Sammy Neely III. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dr. Randle White. Burial was in Odd Fellows East Cemetery following the services.
