Clarice McIver Weeks, 88, of Oxford passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020, at her home.
Visitation was Monday, from 10 a.m. until service time, at the church. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 29, at West Presbyterian Church in West, with burial following in West Cemetery in West. Rev. Jerry Tate and Rev. Justin "Fish" Robinson officiated the services.
She was born on August 17, 1931, in Savage, to Otis and Lottie McIver. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of West Presbyterian Church in West.
Clarice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Weeks Sr.; father, Otis McIver; mother, Lottie McIver; sister, Geneva McIver; brother, Herbert McIver; daughter, Nancy Heinsz; and son-in-law, Greg Heinsz.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Weeks; daughter, Ginger Weeks; brother, Bo McIver; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chip Chudy, Carson Childers, Chase Fuller, Sammy Kim, Jack Ingebretsen, and Mike Lynchard.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Clarice's memory may be made to West Cemetery Fund, Carrollton Street, West, MS 39192; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to Community Church, 68 Highway 334, Oxford, MS 38655.
