Mrs. Charlotte E. Johnson King, 67, of French Camp passed away on Friday, June 15, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.
Mrs. King was born on December 7, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Richard Thomas and Mamie Lee Cordell Johnson. Mrs. King was a member of Covenant Baptist Church near French Camp and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Claude King of French Camp; four daughters. Christy Wise (Steve) of Olive Branch, Becky Moore of Grenada, Stephanne Johnson of Starkville, and Jessie Card (Trey) of Maben; sister, Libby Montgomery of French Camp; twin brothers, Charles "Bud" Johnson of Mathiston and Steve Johnson of Maben; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. King were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 18, at Bethsaida Baptist Church near French Camp, with burial following in Covenant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday evening, from 5 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home; and Monday, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Bethsaida Baptist Church. Rev. Alex Lawson and Rev. Dale Strickland officiated the services. Pallbearers were Butch McGlothin, Brian McGlothin, Bradley McGlothin, Dennis Pullen, Prentiss Pullen, Ronnie Leach.
