Memorial services for Pastor Charles Edward Rothy will be on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at New Hope United Methodist Church located in Winona at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Pastor Rothy, 74, passed away on December 8, 2017 at his residence in Winona. He was born on January 17, 1943, in Mishawaka, Ind. Pastor Rothy was a retired United Methodist Minister, and he served the Lord in this capacity for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Rothy, of Winona; sons Charles Rothy, Jr., Steven Rothy; daughters Lisa Culp, Rachel Kremer, Debbie Farmer, and Kathy Nelson; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pastor Rothy, also known as Chuck, was dearly loved by his family, friends and parishioners.
