Charles Edward Joiner, 73, of Holcomb died Friday, November 24, 2017, in Greenwood.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Williams and Lord Funeral Home, with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial was in Moore’s Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County. Rev. Lanny Haley officiated at the services. Williams and Lord Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Joiner was born January 12, 1944, to Jutson Theo Joiner and Nellie Mae Jeffery Joiner in Carroll County. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and worked for many years as a convenience store clerk. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Frances Self of Holcomb and Patricia Etiennne of Southaven, and brother, Jerry Joiner of Holcomb.
Pallbearers were Mike Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, Tommy Thomas, Tim Joiner, Kenny Joiner, and Joe Wayne Brown
