Charles “CP” Lucas, 96, died March 19 at his home in Greenwood. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, April 1 at Wesley United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Burial will follow in Hudson Park Cemetery in Greenwood. There will be limited visitation from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, March 31 at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. The Rev. Ruth McKinney will be officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife Hattie Lucas. He is survived by his daughters Dr. Jacquelyn Lucas, Regena Lucas Brown both of Greenwood, Dorethea Lucas Robinson of Decatur, Ga.; brother Levern Lucas of Victorville, Calif.
