Brenda Mann Beckwith, 72, of Kilmichael passed away on Sunday, January 6.
Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Oliver Funeral Home; and from noon until service time, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Bethsaida Baptist Church near French Camp and burial followed in the church cemetery. Rev. Brad Herod, Rev. Alex Lawson, and Dr. David Sartin
officiated the services.
Mrs. Beckwith was born to Glynn and Irene Grantham Mann in the Hebron Community on Oct. 31, 1946. She worked as a store manager and for the U.S. Post Office. Mrs. Beckwith was a member of the
Homemakers' Club and Bethsaida Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Wayne Beckwith; grandson, Adam Mitchell; and son-in-law, Tim Mitchell.
Mrs. Beckwith is survived by her daughter, Tina Beckwith Mitchell of Kilmichael; son, Wayne Beckwith (Karren) of Kilmichael; four sisters, Waymer Bramlett (James) of Stewart, Erlene Hollis (Phillip) of Pelahatchie, Linda Herod (Ozell) of Stewart, and Lesa Bingham (Ricky) of Kilmichael; brother, Norman Mann (Bonnie) of Kilmichael; six grandchildren, Christy Mitchell Cummings of Mathiston, Colby
Bridges of McCool, Randall Beckwith of Kilmichael, Brett Bridges of Starkville, Logan and Lane Beckwith of Kilmichael; six great-grandchildren, Seth, Luke, and Gage Bridges; Chloe and Cambrie Cummings; and Riley Kate Beckwith.
Pallbearers were Chance Cummings, Colby Bridges, Randall Beckwith, Brett Bridges, Logan Beckwith, and Lane Beckwith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethsaida Cemetery Fund.
