Alton Lee Holleman, 79, of Vaiden, formerly of Greenville, died Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Winona Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at Hebron Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Leach and the Rev. Billy Little officiated the service.
Visitation was Sunday, April 2, from 2 p.m. until service time at Hebron Baptist Church.
Mr. Holleman was born on July 12, 1943, to Sidney Otis and Mattie Christine Crapps Holleman in Pickens, Miss. He graduated from Riverside High School in Avon, Miss. in 1964. He was a retired outside salesman for a heating and air condition supply house. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Montgomery County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Sidney Otis Holleman Jr.; and his son, Alton Lee Holleman Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Killebrew Holleman of Vaiden; his sons, Robert Holleman and DeWayne Holleman, both of Greenville; his daughter, Kelli Sue Lindsey of Vaiden; five grandchildren, Luiza, Dale and Matthew Lindsey of Vaiden and Olivia and Lora Lee Holleman of Greenville; a very special cousin, Jimmy Love of Morton, Miss. and a host of nieces and nephews.
