Allen Wayne Goetzinger, 64, of Carrolton died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at his residence. Graveside services were at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Odd Fellows East Cemetery. Visitation was from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2008, at Williams and Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Clayton officiated.
Mr. Goetzinger was born June 8, 1953 in Oregon, to Melvin Albert Goetzinger and Agnes Nelson Goetzinger. He was a resident of Mississippi for the past 40 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in Germany. He was of the Lutheran Faith and was retired from 4-Way Electric. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Goetzinger; sister, Lola Goetzinger; and his father.
He is survived by his two daughters, Gina Goetzinger-Colllett of Greenwood and Merrie Moorhead of Carrollton; son, Chad Moorhead of Russellville, Ark.; mother, Agnes Goetzinger of Corvallis, Ore.; brothers, Larry Goetzinger of Portland, Ore., and Dale Goetzinger of Corvallis, Ore.; and nine grandchildren.
Williams and Lord Funeral Home of Greenwood was in charge of arrangements.
