Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Beatrice "Bea" Nichols of Harleston, formerly of Winona, were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Winona Garden of Memory. The Rev. Tracy Putnam officiated the service. Pallbearers were Dell Blaylock, Bradley Blaylock, David Collins, Skip Newman, Steve Van Buren, and Ralph Montalvo.
Visitation was Saturday, Nov. 23, from 1 p.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bea Nichols, 97, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at her home in Harleston. She was born on March 1, 1927. Mrs. Nichols was a homemaker. Prior to retirement, she also co-owned Nichols Auto Parts in Winona.
She is survived by her grandson, Lonnie Ladell "Dell" Blaylock, Jr. (Ann) of Harleston; great-grandson, Bradley Warner Blaylock (Meagan) of Grand Bay, Ala.; great-great-granddaughter, Lainey Jo Blaylock; granddaughter, Ladatha Hubbard (Roscoe); brothers, Jimmy Knight (Martha) of Troy, Ala. and Thomas "Bud" Knight (Betty) of Winona; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry and Gertie Lee Donahoo Knight; husband, Ralph Nichols; daughter, Judy Carroll Nichols Blaylock; grandson, Bradley Scott Blaylock and brother, Kenneth Molton "Moat" Knight.
