Graveside services for Dolly Andrews, of McCarley, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19, at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. The Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate the service.
Dolly Andrews, 84, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Greenwood. She was born in Atlanta, Texas to Jerome and Geneva Fairington Doan on October 4, 1939. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired manager for City Finance Company in Greenwood.
She is survived by her son, Allen Andrews of McCarley; sister, Margaret Hedges of Midland, Texas; four grandchildren, Dusty Bloodworth, Cody Andrews, Katherine Ann Bowers, and Drew Bloodworth; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Andrews; her daughter, Teresa Bloodworth; her grandson, Casey Andrews; and a brother, J.W. Doan.
