Candedia Upchurch Hood, 57, of Carrollton, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, in Grenada County. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation 1 p.m. until service time. The Rev. Tim Winters officiated. Burial was in Moore’s Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County.
Mrs. Hood was born December 21, 1966, in Shelby, to Ralph Upchurch and Barbara Alice Smith Upchurch.
