Bonnie Locke, 71, of Winona, passed away in her home on May 27, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Greenwood on Feb. 28, 1953, to her parents Roy Dean and Pearl Corley. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ. She was retired from Screw Conveyor Corporation as the head of the invoicing department after 47 years.
The simplest pleasure of reading books brought her great joy. She loved spending time with her family and traveling to many places. She will always be remembered for being a beautiful person inside and out. She was the glue that held her family together. She was always there when her family needed her. Her brothers will surely miss that every morning message on their phones she would send them. She had a kind and thoughtful soul, and she will be missed and remembered by the many lives she touched. She was a very caring wife, sister, aunt, and friend, and her memory will forever be in their hearts.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jerry Locke of Winona; two brothers, Steve Corley (Regina) of Batesville, and the Rev. Terry Corley (Melodie) of Winona; and sister-in-law, Liz Corley. She also left behind four nieces, Tonya Wilbanks of Thaxton, Katie McMichael of Boiling Springs, N.C., Rachel Allen of Oxford, and Rebekah Katen of Shelby, N.C., and two nephews, Paul Corley of Oxford, and Austin Corley of Tupelo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Lonnie Corley, and her sister, Carolyn Berry.
