A memorial service for Pamela McCrary Carpenter, of McCarley, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Rupert Ingram officiating the service. A private family committal service will follow.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, from 10 a.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Pamela McCrary Carpenter, 67, passed away at her home Monday, April 29, 2024. She was born in Tunica to James and Betty Jean Costilow McCrary on March 28, 1957. Pamela was a member of McCarley Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, decorating, and sewing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson.
She is survived by her husband, M. J. Carpenter of McCarley; two sons, Matthew Carpenter and James Carpenter (Kadi Brisendine), both of McCarley; brother, Robert McCrary (Ginny) of McCarley; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
