Josie “Jo” Long McCluskey, 73, of Carrollton, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Longview Cemetery in Carroll County, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. Joseph Sansing will officiate.
Mrs. McCluskey was born on August 24, 1950, in Greenwood, to Ellis Anlie Long, Sr. and Lodell Lampkin Long. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cats, and dogs. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ellis Long, Jr.; sisters, Lee Ella Andrews, Jeanette McCain, Clara Bond, and Sara Cox; and her parents.
She is survived by her sons, Ray McCluskey and wife Stephanie of Holcomb, and Bill McCluskey of Carrollton; daughter, Kim M. Ansley and husband DeWayne of Carrollton; and nine grandchildren.
