Funeral services for Don Richard Hodges of Winona will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in New Hope Cemetery in Winona. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Ed McDaniel. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Braswell, Windell Stoker, Brad Johnson, Shane Jones, Shirrel Bailey, and Joe Serio.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 9, from 2 p.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Don Richard Hodges, 83, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at his home in Winona. He was born in Winona to William Melton and Landis Johnson Hodges on Jan. 25, 1941. He was a member of North Winona Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. He owned and operated Hodges Service Station for over 30 years. He loved his family and adored his grandkids. He enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Mr. Hodges is survived by his wife, Sally Holly Hodges of 57 years; daughters, Michelle Skinner (John) of Winona and Renea Masterson (Lee) of Batesville; and four grandchildren, Landon Masterson, Wheeler Chandler, Alaina Masterson, and Colton Skinner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hodges.
