Thomas Wiggins, 95, passed away on Saturday morning, April 27, 2024, at his home in Teoc. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at Malmaison Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Lanny Haley and the Rev. Gary Tanner will officiate. Interment will be held in Malmaison Baptist Church cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post #29. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Chris Miller, Josh Wiggins, Ricky Pugh, Bubba Tanner, Larry Wiggins, Jr., and Sha Wiggins.
Thomas was born to Tilman Thomas and Lenora Montgomery Wiggins, Sr. in Carroll County, and grew up there. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Thomas worked as a machinist for Barrentine Manufacturing for a number of years prior to his retirement. He loved to hunt, fish, raise a garden, and spend time with his family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Clara Harris Wiggins, and a daughter Bonnie Wiggins. He is survived by two daughters, Debbie McDonald (Pat) of Teoc, Donna Wiggins of Teoc; a sister, Barbara Gregg of Teoc; three brothers, Larry Wiggins of Teoc, Kenny Wiggins of Teoc, Bay Wiggins of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Kendra Goodwin of Carrollton, Brandi Goodwin of Carrollton, Cody Pugh (Alicia) of Teoc, 10 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
