WINONA -- A Jackson teen was killed Friday night in a one-car accident on Interstate 55 in Montgomery County.
According to Montgomery County Coroner Allan Pratt, the Montgomery County Emergency Operations Center received a call around 8:45 p.m. Friday, May 4 reporting an accident on Interstate 55 north of Highway 82.
When emergency personnel responded to the scene they found a 2007 Toyota sedan overturned and the driver trapped inside.
Pratt said Taylor Blair Gagneaux, 19, of Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene. Gagneaux was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Winona Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and Mississippi Highway Patrol all responded to the accident.
