The Duck Hill and Elliot Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a call on Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Harmony Road regarding a brush fire which got out of control at a logging site. The fire was believed to have started due to the use of welding equipment in a dry environment, leading to the initial brush fire.
