Funeral services for Mr. John Orvin Avent of Winona were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, at Winona Church of God, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. The Rev. Eric Gregg officiated the service. Pallbearers were Zach Avent, Hunter Johnson, James Travis Johnson, Chris Terry, Dustin Horne, and John Wayne Rigby.
