NATIONAL SUMMARY
A wide swath of showers will dampen a zone from Kansas
northeastward to western Minnesota tomorrow. A few strong
thunderstorms are expected to develop during the afternoon
hours in the Texas Panhandle. These storms may grow in size
and intensity as they move eastward into central Texas
overnight. A spotty shower may occur in upstate New York and
northwestern New England during the morning, but most of the
region will be dry throughout the day. Farther to the south,
the central Florida Peninsula will have a few showers and
afternoon thunderstorms as a front stalls over the region.
Snow will be coming to an end in the Colorado Rockies.
Meanwhile, a new storm will be approaching the Pacific
Northwest. This system is likely to deliver rain to
northwestern Washington state, with snow in the Cascades.
