NATIONAL SUMMARY
A wide area of showers will be in place from New York
through western Kentucky tomorrow. Showers are expected to
be most numerous in western Kentucky through West Virginia.
Meanwhile, much of New England will be dry with the
exception of far western Maine. Meanwhile, chilly air will
continue to expand into the Northeast, bringing
November-like temperatures to the region. Warm air will
remain in place over Southern California and southcentral
Arizona while much of the rest of the southwest cools
slightly. At the same time, a storm will begin to push
ashore in the Northwest, bringing periods of rain along the
coast and an expanding pool of cooler air. Showers will
expand inland during the afternoon.
