Come join us at the Winona-Montgomery County Library for a book signing on Monday, Oct. 7, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Dr. Nason Lollar will be there with remarks about his first book, 5 Principles of Educator Professionalism, which was published in July.
Nason is a 1995 graduate of Winona High School and did his undergraduate studies at Holmes Community College and Mississippi College. His journey as a student of Educational Leadership began with graduate work at Mississippi College, earning his masters and specialist degrees, and culminating in 2018 with a Doctorate of Education from William Carey University. In 2023, Nason was honored by the Mississippi Association of Secondary School Principals as state Assistant Principal of the Year.
Nason is in his 25th year as an educator. He began his career in the classroom, serving as a high school math and social studies teacher and as assistant high school baseball coach at Terry High School for fourteen years. Nason then transitioned to administration, serving as assistant principal at Germantown High School at Madison for nine years. He is currently in his second year as principal at the Madison Career and Technical Center.
Nason and his wife Amanda have four children. His parents are Dwight and Judy Lollar.
