The Winona High School girls and boys varsity track teams competed in the Maverick Invitational last Thursday at Germantown High School.

Winona High Tennis
The Winona tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to East Webster High School last Tuesday.
Gunner Wilkes lost 2-6, 0-6 in boys singles, and Lillian Jones lost 1-6, 0-6 in girls singles. Ben Rosamond and Brayden Flowers lost 1-6, 0-6 in No. 1 boys doubles, and TJ Small and Jeffery Butts lost 0-6, 0-6 in No. 2 boys doubles. Marlee Wilkes and Eden Leach fell 2-6, 2-6 in No. 1 girls doubles, and Joceline Rodriguez and Sofia Guzman lost 3-6, 1-6 in No. 2 girls doubles. A’jerrian Garrett and Ariella Jones lost 0-6, 0-6 in mixed doubles.
Winona plays host to Ruleville Thursday.
